Cooking Lithuanian-style

Back by popular demand, the third Lithuanian cooking school was held on April 20. Recipes demonstrated included:

  • herring salad (Grata)
  • dessert pancakes with cottage cheese (Žaneta)
  • garlic bread Lithuanian-style (Janina)
  • Lithuanian potato salad (Miglė)

As a token of thanks, the cooks received a DVD about Lithuanian food traditions and preparation.

We received many positive comments from participants suggesting the event was a success. Some women mentioned they would like to learn how to make cepelinai next time.
